Hello, and welcome to my site about bathrooms! My name is Cheryl, and I hail from Lincoln, Nebraska, but I currently live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The move was because of my husband’s work when we were first married and when I didn’t have a job. But soon after moving to Milwaukee, I found my true calling: Bathrooms.

That might sound pretty funny to someone, but let me clarify. What I’m really talking about is bathroom design. I’m an interior designer, but I focus on bathrooms, and I know a heck of a lot more about the inner workings of bathrooms than you would think.

You see, most bathroom designers only know how to match a shower curtain and floor tile, but I know about everything. I know about sinks, tubs, showers, toilets and the entire plumbing system. I know about cleaning bathrooms, bathroom lighting and bathroom maintenance. In other words, if you have questions about what type of flushing toilet to buy or how to make a small bathroom look bigger, you’ve definitely come to the right place.

I got into designing and creating amazing bathroom atmospheres when I move to Milwaukee because frankly, I was bored. My husband was always working, and I wanted a way to make my own money, so I got a job as a secretary at an interior design firm downtown. I’ll spare you the long details, but it turns out they needed to hire a new bathroom designer, so I tried it out and loved it!

Since then, I’ve gotten a degree in interior design, gone to plumbing school and designed and renovated countless bathrooms all over the midwest. This site is my way of sharing all the knowledge I’ve learned over the past 20 years. I hope you like it!
